Mainly its just staying in touch or in contact with my shop. It's more all about the Mrs.

I love the new England area and Boston in General around the summer because there really is so much to do. I can be like a tourist everyday and there's plenty to do.
Also, For some strange reason, and I have no idea what or why this is, and I dare not mention it because I feel like if I bring it to her attention, it will change. But if we go 'on vacation' she always gives me a hard time about working.

If we just casually go to NH or the cape or do something around Boston (regardless of what we call it. Even if we call it a vacation) she doesn't give me shit about working at all. It's weird.

With that... Still testing the 1661. Today on a blue Simona (26) museum stap.

That’s nice, I can attest to that as well.

Ha, the Mrs! What I found out too was, if I just don’t tell her that I have ‘vacation’ and just say ‘I have some time off’, that that’s different. The word ‘vacation’ means in her head ‘WE HAVE TO DO SO MANY THINGS RIGHT NOW!’ lol!

Yeah I love the egg patina! Wear her well Mr Logan :)

Having used ammonia ( and sometimes combined with chlorine ) to archive patina in the past I find “the egg” to be the superior fumes receptor. It grants the watch a red-ish, ocean rust, color. Uneven but authentic. I see from the patina that the case and insert are of different bronze material as they reach in different ways.
Interesting to see how the watch looks in 30 - 90 days.

Yeah it looks amazing. I like to see some more pictures after the 30-90 days period hahaha .

I think the ammonia is good if you want the greens in the patina. other methods add the “age” but ammonia really helps those greens come out.

Also, you’re right about the 30 to 90 days. I swear, on humid days when I wear mine, the patina changes over the course of the day. By the end of the day it’s a different watch than what I tatted with.

I went through all my black/grey/blue 24mn straps so I figured I'd try a brown.

When I wore the 799 the other day I was commenting on how the cf lights up in the sun along with the dial. This is no exception.

I think it looks better on the black/bkue/grey but the Corrigia on it. In these pics is growing on me.

And the lume on this watch is great. I look at it a few min after it gets a bright charge and it looks like the indices are just green. The lume looks so good. Anyway....
