That green suits the watch surprisingly nicely! Can we have a lune shot? I'm sure the green will complete the lume.

I love this combination and as I was saying, I love this watch. And while I got this strap for this watch, I don’t wear it too often because for a very stealthy looking watch, I always say the 1118 is surprisingly loud. Like you walk inside from being out in the sun and the bright lume catches the eye of people. This Simona lime green ostrich just makes it even louder. Unless I’m wearing sneakers that match the green.

So while I usually wear it on 1 of these set ups - (on the black mn strap and black leather/black stitch simona kommando I think of it as “a stealth watch”)

But I think this set up is closer to how it should come from Panerai.

But as requested. (But back when I got this strap lined stitching was just becoming available and through only certain makers but i would love if the lime green stitch lined too. But it does glow).

And lol sorry for the 30 pics. I’m sure everyone in here knows I can go a little camera happy when I’m taking pics of a great set up.

Really nice 968 you have here, the bezel 1rst quarter baton markers are perfectly color filled. I've seen many VSFs, including mine, with this clear paint filling gone within a few weeks of use.

Are you sure it’s not just the bronze patina making it look that way? There’s times mine has looked that way but I’ll do the lemon juice/baking powder paste thing and it brings it back.

Sadly no. I cleaned mine as gently and efficiently as I could, filling was just gone.
I guess a bunch of them was like that.
