Finally I can appreciate the beauty of the 984. I have decided to get it only after seeing other member photos, dealer/factory stock photos never actually pushed me to consider this as “must have” for the collection.

Enjoy it. I'm actually curious to hear what you thinkof it after having it in the collection.

Whenever someone asks me about the 984 and 985, I tell them how everyone I've ever talked to likes it more in person than in the pics.

Either like me... Those who didn't like it in pics but ended up loving it on wrist. Or those who like pics and just ended up liking it more once on wrist. But it seems to grow on everyone I've talked to.

I used to hate it in pics than slowly started to like it and then eventually I knew that I have to buy it. I absolutely love PAM984.
It’s a very unique Panerai.

Do you like the 984 more than your other 47mm subs?

Hazing I like the watch but it’s still miles away from my fav PAM models. What I disliked in the photos is the bezel and I am still not that impressed by the design. What I was uncertain of is the etched crystal that I actually like now I have seen it but still prefer the old crystals.
Tickman out of all my Subs this one is the less preferred one. My opinion is that with the new releases Panerai has lost a lot compared to what they have been doing in the past (if we are speaking of 47mm subs that I have 187-225-285-364). I even prefer the Carbotech series over this one..
