I like especially the PAM796, but I guess the 795 and 797 might be easier to replicate due to the closed caseback

I love the return of the arrow pointer on the power reserve subdial. I was never a fan of the leaf pointer that were placed on their last models that had the PR function or the linear power reserve with the 3rd type of pointer..

If they rep this, I will buy for sure

If you read the first paragraphs of both postings you'll note the author's comments suggest Panerai's been there- done that and echoes the few comments posted here.

The 795 & 797 look nice -- new hand style for the PR indicator. I like it and I'd buy one.

Why would they do a closed case back? Have the gen factories learned nothing???
