A TD offer me a PAM692 XF with seagull ST2555 movement instead of A7750!

Is this movement to reliable?

The material is very curious as it is very resistant to knocks and dents compared to stainless steel. In fact, when you drop a steel ball onto BMG, the ball bounces like it was hitting plastic.
