A Beonzo journey:

It had patina

Patina removed by soaking in lemon juice.

Dipped in salt water before new patina.

Placed into a tub with ammonia, Bottle cap used to keep the watch out of direct contact with the ammonia. Then sealed for about 10 minutes.

That ammonia bath gave that an awesome look! I’m going to give that a go with my 671! Thanks for posting.

Just remember do not let the ammonia make contact, it will end up just cleaning the watch. Use the fumes.

Thank you, I think it looks good, very uncommon for some reason though.

Considering the rep can be bought on a black kevlar composite dive strap (the other option is the brown leather strap), not sure why you would say it's uncommon. And yes, it does look good. :)

I see a lot of people here dipping the watch in water or rinsing them under the tap, are they waterproof OTB or you waterproofed them after? Can i get in the water with my xf/vsf bronzo right after i get it or should i get it water tested/proofed? Thx in advance!

Have it leak/pressure tested if you want to be on the safe side. I only don't do it because there are no watchmakers with that equipment that would work on a rep.
