Hey fellas I've been trying to find some time to get this post done to help get my fascination sort of documented with this beast of a watch. I have a few more plans in the works and will update this thread when all comes to fruition.

I am a big fan of BIG watches, tried out some of the monsters out there like Hublot diver, several Uboats, Big Breitlings, and I ended up sticking with the bigger Pams because of the classic look and the story behind them, it just fascinated me. Needless to say the PAM BUG bit me and I have not found a cure, and really don't want one. LOL

I Initially stumbled across the 341 60mm Eggi kind of by mistake, I had seen it before and thought about trying one but never actually pulled the trigger. I bought a watch from a member on another forum and as the deal went through he mentioned he would be posting a PAM 341. One thing led to another and we agreed on a price, he didn't post it and I ended up getting it. I wasn't sure which model it was up until it showed up and then realized it was the 60mm Eggi, It was sort of an impulse buy and only after I bought it I started doing the research on it. it showed up missing a nipple on the bezel and a local friend found out I picked one up and then managed to buy it from me, here it is....

It was really only with me for about 5 days, and I let it go because it is really BIG and even looked huge on my wrist. I found out that there was a 52mm and even a 47mm version so the search started. I am a big fan of Pratts work and was lucky enough to score this 47mm that had been worked on by him. Since this is a vintage watch I pictured in my mind a watch that has been under the sea for many years being used in all sorts of dangerous missions. I know a little far fetched but my imagination runs wild with the possibilities of this being true since in fact these pieces were made for just that. When talking to Pratt about the Eggi, he mentioned he was working on one and it seemed he read my mind with what i was thinking the Eggi should be. Once I saw it in reality i knew it had to be mine. So I picked up the 47mm, I have had it for a few months and it is by far my favorite Vintage PAM in my collection, that may change but for now it is my pride and joy!! Here is a link to the original sales thread.

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/225512-Pam-47mm-EGI-Modded-Patina-Brass-work-!

I only bought the watch head even though I liked the strap thinking I would eventually pair it with the right strap, i have gone through a couple strap changes and have found the perfect one for it, ( for now)

On to the PICS!!!

I mounted it on this vintage Ammo when it came in

And even though I really liked it on this strap, I still thought it wasn't the right combo, I tried on a rubber diver strap but didn't like it and then I remembered a strap i had custom made by Jeremy over at Primestraps for my Arktos diver that I had sold. I almost kicked myself when I realized i had the perfect strap for it just sitting in my strap box. So on it went and I took it in to work on a Saturday early in the morning for a "Photo Shoot". I may have gone a bit overboard with the pics. I wok in a high tech company in Semiconductor industry and walked through the Engineering lab and other areas and took the following pics,

I have named the watch

If youve made it this far down the thread let me tell you that I have a 52mm DSN Eggi being worked on by my man Pratt. Only time will tell what it will come back as. i am looking forward to it. After the 52mm is done I will be sending over a 60mm version to complete the trio. stay tuned for pics of those as they come in.

In the meantime this is what the 52mm looked like.

Great post, surely not everyone's watch but it's nice to see how you love this piece!

The 47 mm is a beautiful watch matched with its perfect strap, and the pics in the lab are very nice. I'm looking forward to see the trio complete :)

Thanks for sharing, they are stunning! What is your wrist size? And is 52mm wearable on 7.2" wrist?

Keep your bronzo buddy ;) you will regret it...

I know, I know. :( But it just doesn't get wrist time it deserves and collection expanded pretty much lately so can't keep them all. However 569, 187 and 243 will keep me on life. ;)

;) , you know what I still did not get a 243... I am such a 47mm guy that a 44mm does not appeal to me that much, I was wondering if I get a bund strap maybe I could sport her... ;)

Ohh you have to try it out, I don't know how big your wrist is but it fits perfectly. 47 is a bit too big but I still love them all.
