PAM779 [HWF]

A very interesting release and a good model is not waiting for.
It should be noted that this will not be easy:
- Titanium case (HWF hasn't made titanium models before)
- DLC coating, the color of which is always a very difficult task. (There were no examples of their black coated cases yet)
- The lumé of the cali dial is always a challenge, both in terms of color and depth. (usually HWF lume is wider, thinner and not recessed)
- Hands with blue bluing I hope it won't be just paint.
- Well, of course, this is an 8-day model, but it is clear that the tone will be with 6497, and the thickness with the proportions of the case will remain the same.

Big if's... but if they do produce a decent release, it will be hard not to pull the trigger on this.
Oooh yes, I love the 779. It gathers some of the best features of Panerai : 44mm, luminor case, Cali dial, blue hands, Titanium DLC...
Fingers crossed that HWF don't f*ck it up. If decent enough I'll get this beauty right away.

[these are not QC pics, just my dealer's hands-on pics for customers], looks promising...any pairs of trained eyes can chime in?
Really hard to tell however the gen colour is pencil lead grey, first impression is that this will be too dark but that is subjective to how the photos are taken above. We will,also need to know if the case is titanium or not.

The dealer claimed it’s a Ti case but the ad on the first post said it’s 316 polished steel…?

At least they got the hands blue and the hour hand segmented. The blue hue quality will be stated IRL I guess, and as KOT said I hope it's not just a plain flat paint.

A friend of mine translated the text lower right, AISI 316 is Steel not Ti..
