Seiko 6105-8110 "Captain Willard"

Today I want to show my Seiko 6105-8110 "Captain Willard" Replica/Hommage. Base is a Semdu Willard Case. There are distinct differences to the original, which IMHO make this replica a much better watch: Sapphire crystal (vs. mineral), proper screw-down crown (vs. twist lock), NH35 movement (vs. 6105B 17 j) and 20 mm lug width (vs. 19).

I threw in a cheap ebay AM dial and a super comfortable waffle strap. For the finishing touch I also installed a SEIKO clasp from a SNK80x.
Along my Col. Kurtz GMT master, it makes me giggle every time I walk by my watch cabinet. I hope you like it, too.
