Wow, looks great. Actually at 42mm it’s the perfect size for a dress watch. I will consider it. Good to see that BBR removed the wheel and made some further improvements on the movement. For the past weeks I haven’t been following what is happening in China related to new releases mostly because of the CNY, coronavitus. I will be more active in the weeks ahead

Here are the major changes:

1. Upgraded the movement to be "98%" like gen - they got rid of some of the non-gen gears - this is HUGE.
2. Upgraded the AR of the sapphire.
3. Serial engraving at 10-oclock inside the case like gen.
4. Upgraded the center pinion to be more like gen

I may have to snag this up.

I definitely will look for one with a black finish, just wonder why V2 of RDDBEX0393 from BBR had a little bit different mechanism than RDDBEX0479 rep.?

I also looking for rep. of RDDBEX0479 as well as RDDBEX0748, RDDBEX0705 & RDDBEX0473.

RDDBEX0479 - jbf and bbr make a rep of it. Theres a thread in the other watches section but might not have that exact name.

RDDBEX0748 - no chance in a good rep. Not now not ever.

RDDBEX0705 & RDDBEX0473 - theres a micro rotor rep out but the chances of them making this one are slim to none. More money in making the very similar tourbillon version in this thread.

The cover over the keyless works on the 3 o'clock side of the watch. If this thing was 99.9% perfect compared to gen there would still be someone complaining about the 0.1%. At the end of the day theres those of us who will buy and enjoy the watch, and theres those who just want something to complain about! If you have a tourbillon watch gen or rep, and your main concern is the keyless works cover your probably beyond help!

I wouldn't say I'm complaining about it, it's an incredible piece. The only reason I bring it up is because BBR's main competitor did such a slam dunk job with it. It makes it something of a compelling decision between the two factories in deciding what combination of features and "flaws" you prefer. There's really no need to be rude about it.

The jbf watch is a lot bigger and thicker. Its like comparing a sub and a sd43. Look similar in pictures but very different in real life. If like bigger, go jbf. If you like small and thin, go bbr. They’re both great watches.
