Paul Picot Le Plonguer C Type question

I like this watch in the A7750 version (http://www.timeshops.net/product.php?id_product=957) but don't like the sunken date wheel issue. As I won't wear it often I'm thinking of just getting the Quartz instead (http://www.timeshops.net/product.php?id_product=2215) which doesn't have the sunken date wheel plus won't need to be keep in a watch winder to keep accurate time.

But other than the difference in chrono faces, would the overall quality finish on the two watches the same? Same bezel, strap, clasp, crown, pushers, etc.?

I asked T4D and was told "the 2 watches are different. the movement are also different.the first one which is Asia 7750 i high quality. and the second one is just Quartz." which didn't really answer the question...

Anybody know?

generally, yes, sometimes no, in this case, I think they are about the same.

I have the C-Type with the A7750 for almost 2 years,you dont have to worry about the datewheel it is not that noticeable plus this watch it is build like a tank.You want regret it.

The datewheel on the 7750 is black, as is the dial. The sunken datewheel is really not noticeable.
However from what I can see on Mark's website the quartz looks to be of an equal build quality to the 7750. The difference is in the dial placement.

But with this watch you do not need to worry about meeting a Gen. It is a very rare beast in the wild.

Given the price, the quartz version looks pretty attractive.
