Not my type (45mm) but find the details very nice and interesting. Pretty uncommon rep as well.

Here goes the pics of the rep:

While I can appreciate it, and it's very detailed, personally I think it is absolutely horrible! Lol.

Also that may have to do with the fact that I cannot stand too "cluttered" of dials, and also I "need" to be able to tell the time at a very quick glance! Just a habit of mine, I guess...
The thin hands of, for instance AP RBII which kinda blend into the skeletonized dial, just don't work for me.

Anyway, I do think it's cool this was repped! Thanks for sharing!

I like this as a watch to create a talking point. Probably terrible for telling time.
And I like black jade too (on the gen).

I don't have the details. Most of the TD dealers are already on leave for the CNY. That said, I believe TD (example Lucy) would be able to provide the details and get it for you after the 8th (some start work on the 12th Feb)

Well, where did you find it?

I've asked Lucy about this numerous times and she'd never heard of it.

Well, OP doesn't seem to want to share his source at all... so if anyone else has any concrete information or links, that would be amazing.

Yes please don't demand from me info such as the source or details and etc thinking that I owe an explanation.
And as mentioned, I think TD can get the details. You guys are better off asking the TD please.

@Hyjynx

I think this would be a good display piece :)

Looks a little different though but then again I am no expert on these :)

Man oh man... this is great. The rep is neat as it shows progression. But it'll probably cost quite a sum.

@Hyjynx should love this!!!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, guys. I think I just died and (undeservingly) went to heaven! [emoji56][emoji1][emoji106]

Figured you enjoy this! I think it's beautiful and shows just what we can expect in the future. However... they still can't get the little stuff right [emoji23]

This is a crowdfunded project watch from a group which operates on the Chinese forum/chatboard "tieba" and the messenger app "QQ" . Pre-order finished a full year ago and the first batch was recently delivered. The group is now full and closed, making it not possible to see project updates.

This is not from the usual TD channel therefore it'd be quite impossible for them to have heard of this watch, much like the elusive Halios Puck project, Seiko 6105 project and various Tuna tributes and many other bronze project watches.

Pre-order price from last year was somewhere about CNY 4000 if I remember correctly, but the pieces have since been sold out. Secondary market offers range from CNY5000 to 9500. There is also talk of an updated case set available after Chinese New Year. Here're a couple pics I pulled off Chinese sites:

@mujidominic Thanks a ton for the info! No point in wasting Lucy's time with it then. :)

Thanks for that information @mujidominic. If this was indeed a crowdfunded project, (and it does appear to have the hallmark of one), then the watch is technically a "homage", not a rep of RD KOTRT. And that's probably why the name and trademark of RD does not appear anywhere on the watch. I'm still hopeful that the apparent success of the project sends a signal to rep makers that there's a strong interest and market for the rep of the Roger Dubius Knights of the Round Table.

Indeed, a lot of these crowdfunded watches tend to steer towards the "homage" territory to avoid legal issues. It's a pity really considering they only need a bit more work to make a good rep, but then the creator's are only aiming to have a single production run which touches on the MOQ of about 150-200 watches.

Many of these homages have minute differences to the originals, such as hands shape, crown position, bracelet screw size etc. while some of them have ridiculously made-up names and logos on the dial, in lieu of a sterile dial option.
