Any fans of Bremont here?

Would love to see these start coming from the factories. Most of the pieces are simple enough and should be relatively easy to do (mind you I have no technical knowledge of the work that goes into copying them). Anyone else feel this way?

Hi Budd! Yes, Bremont watches earned their good reputation. But the only way I see them being rep -in my limited experience- is asking Angus/PureTime to convince a maker if he sees enough members' interest. Angus is more active in "next doors' sister forum" though. Those Bremont "Pilot Day Date" do not allow me to sleep! I'm in for a couple of course.

I'm currently trying to choose between a gen Explorer II and Bremont MBIII. However the Bremont will have a lower resale value, so I think it will be the exp II. If there was a rep Bremont I would buy it instantly if repped correctly.

On this one (Model 247 Ti-GMT) - standard A7750, seconds @ 9, GMT function, ceramic bezel… easy peasy! The mechanical setup already exists.

Bremont's are really really nice. Understated, well proportioned. I would go for a rep in a heart beat just to quell my otherwise soon-to-be irrepressible impulse to pull the trigger on one at the local AD in Los Angeles. The U-2 with the blue dial is, IMHO, one of the most awesome pilot's watches in production, I'd wear it before the IWC.

Na, leave little Bremont alone. They are hardly out of reach anyway being well under 5K in most cases. Repping them would do a lot of damage to Bremont and then I'd have to listen to Nick cry and I like the guy.
