I'm considering parting with my v5 Franken built by ado at the top of the list. It's 45.5mm and has gen dial, hands, dw, custom made ring so it could accept my gen bezel assembly and gen insert, gen gasket with sunnydale crystal, gen working HEV, gen crown and tube, gen caseback, gen antimagnetic cover, basically all that is rep is the bracelet, straps (there's a leather and a rubber deployment) and midcase.

If anyone is interested please fire me a pm and I'll start a sales thread. I've taken the 2500B movement out and moved it into my 42mm Franken so it currently needs a movement so I can put either a gen 2892 or gen 2824 in depending on preference. Obviously this will all go on a separate sales thread but it's kinda impossible until I put a movement in.

Mine is being assembled now
Indeed parts are hard to come by, I've been lucky, but then again I've also taken my time to search all over ebay and forums.
ebay is quite good in this respect, occasionally, relevant parts do turn up
The bezel I got from swiss limited editions for a steep price, but the good thing is other gen parts are available from there too.

So in 2022, these were the gen parts I managed to get my hands on:
1. Dial
2. Hands
3. Bezel assembly
4. Caseback
5. Cal. 1120

supplemented with:
1. Crown + tube from Clark
2. HEV assembly from Clark
3. ETA black date wheel Beco Technic

Good luck!

I built this PO back in 2014. It has a gen bezel, insert, dial, date wheel, hands, tube and crown. I didn't get around to the He valve. I now have one incoming and was wondering if there is a tutorial for removing the rep valve. Thanks!

Hi, with my limited experience - I have recently “upgraded” 3 rep POs and it seems different “He valves” were used during the time (and by different factories?)

Two of my 2201.50 reps has just press fitted machined piece of metal into the mid case. So not a real He valve. The newer LMPO has a screwed He valve (very close to the gen, but eg different thread in the main case).

So you would need to remove the old He valve be unscrewing it (use the force) and pulling it out.

Then there are 3 possible scenario:

1. Thread in the main case is gen spec - just screw in the gen He valve

2. Thread or the hole in the main case is smaller than the He valve - drill the hole (enlarge), tap the correct gen thread and screw in the gen He valve

3. Thread or the hole in the main case is larger than the gen He valve - you would need to use epoxy to glue the gen He valve there

One more thing - in my case I also needed to recess / countersink the top part of the hole in the case - otherwise the gen He valve doesn’t go deep into the case (He valve crown needs to align with the case)

Hope this helps a bit

Just one more question. Does anyone have the drill size and tap size for the installation of a gen He valve. My case drilling is smaller than the threads on the gen part, so I should be able to install a functioning valve. Thanks in advance!

P. S. I failed to say, the gen valve is the 086 ST 115 for a 2201.51.
