Seamaster 300M - VSF or OMF? Please help

Dear ladies and gents,

I am going to buy a seamaster 300M ss/yg, but would appreciate your great knowledge and advice whether VSF or OMF is the best choice?

Hands down...VSF

Accurate Bracelet
Accurate Bezel Pearl
Shallower Bezel Engraving (Closer to Gen)
Better finish on bezel scallops
6 oclock marker on dial is closer to gen (OMF is fatter)

Only tell IMO is the slightly smaller crown guards on the VSF compared to OMF, which OMF got right.

Don't mind the descriptions on TDs websites, they're mostly inaccurate.

Therion. I ask because I (of course) do have searched for the answer on the forum, but I did t find it.
Also I have looked for what gen thickness is on Google. 13.5mm.

This always bothered me! Why can't TD's use calipers to exactly show how thick a watch is? Especially for the small wrist gang, this can make a big difference.

According to my reading and research, VSF seem to be closer to the genuine. I am wondering how is the movement holding up. Thanks for the reply.

It seems that these days VSF is better than OMF but I guess it depends on the model, too

I can only speak for the Omega Seamaster 300M and VSF V2 is the only way to go. Extremely pleased with the build quality and attention to details.
