People who are into reps will be on the lookout, the other 99% will not notice anything.
i love the look of the white and orange but can’t stop thinking of Hankook tyres from the rubber strap. Anyone think that it would sit nicely on a rugged grey suede Bulang and sons strap with the deployment clasp fitted?

thanks for the video link. it looks like gen has very little bit of green hue. the VSF rep has very little bit of purple hue. very little bit of difference. amazing.

I think I understood why VSF grey dial has this pinkish hue. If you check these two reviews from Fratello watches and from Deployant, it's clear that the prototype not only had a white datewheel but also a different tone of grey, more pinkish in some lights:

Most likely they didn't buy this specific gen and used pics in the web to decide the tone, hence the current rep.

Now I am not sure whether or not I want this model.
There was plenty of exposure of the gen grey dial all over, from Omega website to plenty YouTube videos showcasing the colour. I think it's quite lazy from VSF to make the dial purple grey. Grey dials are the easiest to copy, yet they messed it up. Hopefully this dial gets improved in a V2 soon.

I think the only super reps so far are the black and the white dial ones...as usual
One thing that haven't been up, what I have seen, is the dial teak pattern, and that the lines are to narrow against each other (the thin lines) compared to the gen.
You can see that on the pics in post #175, that is something that all the vsf teak pattern rep dials have in common and is visiable clearly when light shines on the dial in a direct comparasion with a gen dial.
But, that tell and others doesn't bother me atleast enough to not buying these, bought 3 of these reps already, as the AT have always been one of my favorite everyday wearing watch but have always had lousy movement in the reps before, if anyone likes the Miyota 8215, raise your hands, lol.
The new movement and the great crystal on these, is enough leap for me to get some of them.

Is there any same looking comparison, but for white dial please? I believe white one is closest to gen
Would be interested in this as well, are all the teak patterns the same for all colours of dial, that looks to be the only easy tell but it hasn’t stopped me from pulling the trigger.
