Regarding putting a gen bracelet on the VSF rep. My guess is that the gen springbar hole placement is not exactly the same as it is on the VSF rep. My reasoning for this thinking is I bought a Zealande rubber (designed to fit the gen) and I had to bend the springbar a bit to get it to fit my VSF rep.

I guess you can always sell the bracelet if it doesn't work, but it seems like a lot of money to spend on something that seems unlikely ro work well.

I would just buy a VSF rep bracelet. I believe any TD can get one for you.

Ok, but that alone would not be enough to convince me that it is worth taking the risk that a gen bracelet would fit, especially considering the expense...

Ksswolesauce thanx, but that is the wrong older bracelet. Plenty of those around.

Nanook65 yes the risk is real as my springbar hole placement is already wrong with sitting very low so the SELs stick out quite a bit at the bottom.

has anyone ever had springbar holes fixed? Like filling them up and redrilling them?

definitely the older one. you can see it when looking at the SELs.

No question about it, this is the older one. As discussed many times long ago in this thread, look at the center link. Once you compare ther center link on the old & 2018 ver it is quite obvious.

jpchub Nanook65 i believe that’s just a stock photo guys. The part number is correct for the new style bracelet and so is the price, even if the picture is not. The old bracelet is 1610-930.

Excellent comparison without a fake-bashing. At 3:50 and 4:23 you can see the very small difference in the lume.

I had the grey and the blue one and thy are both stunning.

Gents, can anyone say what movement is in these? TD’s list as a 2824 but the date changes instantly at 12 so that has me doubting 2824. I want to put an ETA in mine, thinking it’s a 2836?

The 3 I’ve had have a 2824 inside and not 2836.

I've just received a blue dial version and the lume is improved. It’s not quite as crisp white as gen but it’s certainly better than previous examples I’ve had.
