Is the shade of orange really that different? Are the orange numerals on the VSF bead blasted like gen or are they in fact more metallic / glossy?
Can't remember the last time I was so indecisive, I feel like I'm 12 again. I hope I don't get pimples...

I wanted the orange too, but after looking att several videos of both rep and gen I choose to go with the silver. I Think its to glossy and "orange red". I owned a V6F orange Numbers two years ago, the Numbers on that one was metal not blasted/Shotpeened.

anyone have any insight as to when the 43.5mm is coming out? I've got a 7.1" wrist and feel like the 42 is a touch too small and the 45.5 is way too big

Whats wrong with the endlinks? It looks good to me.

Here is an evidence to end the confusion about the flaw of the end link.

Genuine 42mm below showing the end link behavior which looks same as VSF one.

Thanks for posting and clarifying that there is no flaw with the end-links.

So essentially, how the end-links look, basically depends on the size of your wrist.

Tim’s wrist (in those pictures) is only 61/3”.

I told you already a couple of pages ago.. You WILL look like a clown with the 45.5 on your wrist, but it's your choice. Some people don't mind being clowns. Even the 42mm might be a bit large on you, it's a very thick watch.
This is what it looks like on a 6.3" wrist:

And this is a 42mm in the pics!!!

I'm under the impression that you want to hear to go for the 45.5mm, so I suggest you buy the watch, see that it's ridiculous, sell it at a loss and then get the proper size. It's life mate, trial and error.

You need to know which guy you want to be, the choice is yours ;)

Definitely 42mm and only if your wrist is flat on top, especially if you want to wear it on the bracelet. Otherwise even that might be too large.

Even the 42mm is too large, 39mm would be perfect.

Or maybe if the 42mm comes out in Titanium ;)

That would be peeeerfect :)

But seriously, I think that the LMPO is a better choice for the chicken wristed as it has a much slimmer profile.

You guys need to relax... 42mm or 45mm is really a matter of choice, not wrist size... currently I'm enjoying using the 42mm VSF Mon-Fri and I leave the 45mm chronos for weekends and wear those on rubber, I agree the latter don't go with formal wear. Live and let live.

Well, the guy asked a question ( for the second time ) and got an honest answer. I'm no fan of permissive millenial type of educational methods, I tried to save him a couple of $. I kinda regret it now, I had to learn the hard way, owning everything from 52mm Invictas in the beginning, 47mm no bezel PAMs, 47mm flieger watches, to the 39mm Explorer today. It was a costly road, but now I know. Watches, that hang over your wrist, make you look like a person that lacks in taste department. My personal opinion, of course, to each his own.

Ive owned a 42mm noob and ended up selling it for the 45mm, purely because it felt a little too small. Having said that I did almost knock out a small child who walked into my planet ocean earlier.. the 45mm does have some heft to it.

I have 6.5 in wrists and can wear AP ROO Divers comfortably, which are 42mm. It's the 16mm thickness that's most concerning about the Planet Ocean's size.
