(re) introducing... Ultraman!

Omega just reintroduced the Ultraman speedy. This watch was part of the Ultraman TV series back in the 60' / 70's. Having own a Mitsukoshi and a Vintage Mark II with racing dial, I had always wondered why there were so many cool looking speedy's coming from Japan, was the Ultraman what started this?

Looks really good - the red highlights really suit the speedy. Just a shame omega decides to charge such a premium for a few dots of colour (and remove the bracelet).

Very nice- I really wish one of the factories would clone the speedy movement. I'm sure they would sell thousands, and there are so many reps they could make.

Agree with you on this, DocHolliday Tin Tin is a cool looking watch, I had thought about adding that and the tropical dial it to my collection of Japanese inspired Speedys; however I've been trying to save up for a Tuesday (but been buying a few other gens along the way).

Thanks Doc, i just may ???? I forgot to include my ‘regular’ speedy. I also placed my name on a waiting list for a speedy Tuesday and the new CK2998, will probably see it in a few years lol

i have heard Omega brand is more popular in Japan than the other countries. So, they care the Japanese super hero character Ultraman????
