Thank you Sir! If you do use it make sure you have your AD give you the description of the part. If you go the bezel route, I believe it does come with the retainer. I need to fix that.

Enjoy!

Found the gen case back on Ofrei's:

OME-112ST1703

Any idea if this will fit a rep? or will we have the same issues as the bezel?

I supposed I should've started a new thread eh?

ETA datewheel - white on black 3o'clock - 2557/1 for 2892 compatible with 2824-2 - on sales @ couzinsuk.com : £18,35
I did check the compatibility on www.eta.ch

Thanks to Pugwash from RWI for the image :
ETA2824 datewheel (that is into "our UPO") compare to a gen ETA2892 datewheel (on the right). Look at the difference

Here is the real difference ... The ETA original Datwheel 2557/1 for 2892 compatible with 2824-2 (ordered at couzin for my Franken) and the UPO latest model (no happyfeet just received) before sending for transformation as Franken

Can anyone recommend someone to do the complete FrUPO rebuild? I'm going to order the dials, hands, datewheel, crown, bezel insert and am wondering who has experience doing the rebuild?

If you are in Europe you can use Uwe from Finedd he did the job for my 2 Franken UPO.
Just check here about my franken ...and see what Uwe did !

you can find all details about Uwe on the forum. He also have a specific topic.

I do not think Offrei has any ETA parts ...so you need to find somebody who carries Eta products as this datewheel is an Eta part

Great thread!

I'm looking to Franken my UPO with the orange numbers on the dial and orange bezel (Pumkpin!), like this:

52848b85-3e77-3a1e.jpg

According to the CousinsUK this is the correct dial:

52848b05-3f6a-292d.jpg

This looks correct to me, the gap between the date window and the 3 o'clock marker being correct for the 45mm model.

On the Ofrei website they show this dial:

52848b85-4078-2982.jpg

This looks like the date window is closer to the 3 o'clock marker, like the 42mm model. This actually looks more like the dial in my first picture, which is a 45mm taken from Omega's website.

They are both listed as being for the same case number (168.1652) - but the Ofrei option is €65 cheaper. This doesn't include postage (I'm in the UK so Cousins would be cheaper postage, but it would still be a considerable difference). Anyone got any experience with these dials....?

Thanks in advance

OW

Hi guys,

from ofrei , is 062SB3036 crystal comfirm to have double AR or just normal clear crystal.

Cos 062SA3007 says to be anti reflective sapphire crystal. Why they never mention 062SB3036 as anti reflective? Is that mean its not coated with double AR?

Thanks for any reply..
