I developed this list out of frustration and contradictions in part#'s between the Red Book and Otto Frei. Almost all of these numbers are confirmed but each modder should note to ask your AD for clarification of the exact part you are to order before you pull the trigger. In other words, I am 98% sure that these numbers are accurate but use at your own risk.

Now, If you have ever seen the Red Book you will appreciate Otto's attitude as I have. There are terms in the book that must be interpreted from abbreviations in foriegn lingo and even then the abbreviations are incomplete or not listed.

THIS IS THE BEST PART! (There is a Carrure# or Middle Case part number not listed on Frei's site. I believe this will not include the bezel, tubes, casebacks, crystal, crowns and the fittments as shown on the 007 under their watch cases $689.00 special showing the case assembly not the middle case! I have not confirmed this but it is promising as the price for the gen case should be much less than 689.00! Again an assumption of mine and unconfirmed. If you see something wrong PM me and I'll update it!

Enjoy!

This is excellent - really helpful!

Does anyone know what parts do/don't fit the latest seamaster pro model (seamaster letters in red and "Qmega" logo)?

I'd like to fit a new crown and tube, and possibly change the dial.

Cheers,

OW

The dial should fit but the dial feet are shorter for the 2892 so you might have to rely on one of the locking claws to latch and dial dot the other side or leave it. Once it's in the case and the dial feet are in there, it isn't moving anyway.

The crown might fit with some modification. The red coaxial gen tube might be threaded where as the older 2531.80 and 2254 models are press fit tubes. So order the crown and tube on the guide above just in case. Good luck. :)

Forgive a slightly noobish question maybe, but here goes:
Will these gen SMP parts fit with the new ceramic SMP (2012 version) that is out there now?

Just ordered a gen 2531.80, but it’s a bit banged up. I was having trouble finding a replacement bezel, but this makes things a lot easier. Thank you!
