I'm 29, most older people have a huge disdain for reps, they all have the Chinatown quartz rep experience and it's really hard to convince them, I've had multiple conversations about this and most of the time they say "I just don't feel good with it" while they wear their 100 dollar certina watch

It's funny to see so many older generations here, kudos

40. Started looking for high-quality reps around age 21. I really wanted a Rolex submariner and I could not afford $5000 at the time (yes you could purchase a five digit sub for $5000 when I was 20 years younger). Bought my first rep in 2018 (deep sea sea dweller blue James Cameron). The quality is so on point I see no reason to purchase anything better unless I win a huge case in the millions of dollars and no longer care about dollar to quality ratio.

52, started with reps last month because I wanted to try a HBB for a few months before pulling the trigger with a gen.

However, I discovered that this hobby can be addictive and bought another Hublot (a CF titanium blue that I don't wear and that will probably try to sell in the future) and a Linde Werdelin that I really like.
