Finally did the thing and bought an M240i. Test drove the 440 and found the 240 was more of a "driver's car", and better value (I measure value in smiles per dollar). I do occasional track days and found the smaller 240 just more fun to drive.

Looking to do some minor mods, DMS stage 1 tune, Dinan intake, H&R springs and some drilled Brembo rotors and some better pads. Will be pushing 320kW & 600Nm (probably significantly faster than an M2).
