Saw a Countach yesterday when in the car with my 13yo daughter. As it passed us I tried to explain what a landmark it was. She exclaimed it was too ‘blocky’ and not ‘curvy enough’. It looked stunning in red with the rear wing on. They still look ahead of their time in a way that no other production car does.

From the description I’d imagine one like this, my old man had one new in 1986, great fun car from what I remember. They send to have a slight following these days in the U.K. but I think they would feel slightly dated now

When the sun is shining and no chance of rain I drive a Corvette. The rest of the time I drive a Ford Excursion that I will keep till I am dead or they start making them again.

I love all those old cars. Based in US not too many people know about them. I think we had a Mercury Merkur over here that was similar. I like the old Escort Cosworth.

Yeah old fords seem to have quite a following in the U.K. for some reason, I remember selling a 2.8 Capri about 20 odd years ago for a mate that moved countries and I was very surprised what it fetched

Nowt as strange as folk I suppose

I love this thread . I'm going to join in by taking a picture of a random super parked up and pretend it's mine . Does that Ferrari have an engine ? It never moves from the cigar shop car park .:D
