Application Process of Becoming a Moderator ?

Strolling through RWI, I was wondering if there is such a process of becoming a moderator/helper to assist the website better and help the original mods some assistance.

Still consider myself a new individual, but it seems like I am on the website way too much that I want to lend a helping hand. Not coming in aggressively, but I would like to share my knowledge and strengths to assist Mods in maintaining the website.

TBH asking to be a mod is the surest way not to be one, if we need new/more staff we approach those we consider appropriate after long and detailed discussions behind the scenes.
