The first thing i found out was the " paint mod " has one big flaw. Its usually not Technic, or application. Its wrong from the start bc of the color. The way the gen looks dark sometimes in the bezel markers. The way in some light its a bright white, then off light is a dull silver. They're all characteristics of the color "platinum". Actual platimum, not (platinum silver, silver metallic, bright silver,) has a specific almost brownish, silver, whitish very shimmery color to it. A pearlized affect. And being in the motorsports detailing, customizing, and painting industry for years, its this pearl affect that gives the gen this color shifting, very specific appearance. I searched all over for the correct color and found an ink, BRILLIANCE PIGMENT INK, that has real platinum in it to pigment the ink. As far as application, lol im working on that and will share it with you once i have a system for repeating it
