Sub V9 116610 Ceramic 904L SA3135 First purchase in years

Hi all, been a lurker for years and not bought anything since 2013 or so. Just took the plunge and gone with the sub V9 after lots of reading etc.
I have ordered from puretime and had an issue with the card being declined, got an email from my CC company, sorted and redid the order.
I will document my experience here ( I hope its an ok place on the forum for this - if not apologies )
Is there anything in particular I need to look for in the QC pics?
Is there anything I should be especially aware of with this watch? As stated ive read a lot but knowing me ive missed something. Smokes posts have been golden but a lot of broken links now

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s been pointed out that you should have your watch SA3135 movement serviced ASAP. This applies to all rep movements in general.

The reason comes from the fact that the movements are usually assembled in uncontrolled environments with limited importance on quality control. There may be dust or all sorts of dirt trapped inside both the watch and the movement. Therefore I think it’s been recommended that you have the movement serviced ASAP, preferably right after you receive it. Another thing you might also want to have done is to re-grease all the gaskets and have the watch pressure tested to ensure watch resistance.

If you want a rep with a movement that is more likely to last longer, as well as peace-of-mind that your watch won’t suffer from water damage, these are services you should consider performing.

You may find trusted dealers who perform the services I mentioned in other sections of this forum.

Hi john, I thought the 3135 issues were addressed now? There's so much contradiction it's hard to know if the movement breaks I'll probably just get a gen one. It was one of the reasons to go for the 3135 tbh

Got QC pics, only thing I could see was a slight mark next to the crown on the watch body but I'm not an expert - any opinions?

puretime are very serious .. I bought noob v9 2836 have sent me QC photos and everything was ok .. you bought an excellent rep! I took v9 with 2836 because I was in a hurry today I would buy the 3135 because I think the bottom with 2836 is more fat maybe wrong

quiet. they answer you! if you have given the ok soon you will receive notice of delivery with DHL not being in a hurry are very precise! if you have doubts slips they will always answer you @puretime
