I’m so glad I’ve found this site. So much info for a newbie. Made a purchase with ChazingTime. This is my first order with a TD and second time purchasing a rep. I must say communication is great. Very fast turn around. Did a bank transfer on 7/27 and they have the Q/C pics on the 8/4. Kept me updated.

I purchased a noob v8 submariner 2836 for myself and a noob explorer 2 with correct hands for my brother. We both own gens but a friend of ours got us really fascinated with Reps.

My first purchase, noob v7 submariner ( thought he was a TD but turned out not) I had to email him numerous of time to check on order and when I recieved the watch. It does not look like the QC. I posted it on Reddit, someone said it is not a v7 but closer to a v5. Oh well lessons learned. I still like the watch. Did the molotow mod and keeps time really well.

I’ve attached a link to the QC pics. Just wanted to share my experience with you guys. Cheers

Sorry, I read the FAQ, I know I should not ask for opinions on the QC but did not know that I cant post it. Is there a way to take the link out?

On the right side, bottom of post. You will see small letters EDIT. You can use the feature to remove the photo links.

I've been trying to find out where on this forum I could find information about purchasing from a trusted dealer. I found a page with several tutorials for NOOB, but most of those links were broken for me. Can someone point me to where I can find out about purchasing from a TD? Do I use their web site, or is it done through RWI? What is the role of the moderator - in that should a moderator be contacted when I make a purchase with a TD? If so, how do I contact them?

First, you need to relax. Here is the link to the TD's page. The moderators get involved if there is a problem or a member doesn't follow the rules. It takes a lot of reading before you are ready to buy a Rep watch. If you don't do your homework you will end up buy a piece of junk and be disappointed. The members here will bend over backward to help new members if they show they are doing their homework and not expect everything handed to them.

Here are some links to make you feel comfortable. Take your time and read and read. When you first join it is a bit overwhelming. You will be fine in a few weeks. The first two links will help you understand the process of buying a Rep watch. It is not Amazon. You will need patience.

Don’t use Google to find our Trusted Dealer websites. You will get scammed by a fake site.

Don’t look for Trusted Dealer websites via Google. Only go to TD’s here on RWI.
