Did you order from the real puretime site? There’s a lot of scam sites pretending to be them. VSF has been gone for a while since the raids.

That is the correct site yes.

Because it coincides with their RWI member profile (which should always be your double check)

But I would question availability tbh.
Maybe contact them and enquire, as I suspect you may have to change to an alternative watch given the factory closure/lack of stock.

Have seen it mentioned a few times that some of the websites are very rarely updated (if ever) so it's always advisable to query pre-purchase as to whether the model is available.

Good luck & pure randomness but am actually wearing mine today. It's a beautiful watch so hope you manage to get one.

I really enjoy it. Picked it up M2M and love the blue /black contrast.

You've asked a divisive question on the forum tbh.

My own opinion is if it ain't broke, dont fix it.
And I'll either service/ replace if a serious issue arises.
Others will say to always service a rep upon arrival, so the jury is out from what I've seen on the threads.
Watches can arrive DOA and others last for years.
Luck of the draw, so 100% your choice.

If you're after servicing / waterproofing, perhaps try local first? Alternatively a few of the guys on here are US based:

Another doozy

I've read a number of threads and again some say its ok, some say not, so on this matter I'd be risk averse and avoid water, just in case.

But I don't shower or swim with any of my watches tbh, rep or gen, so probably not the best sample.

I'd be curious when you get yours if its waterproofed (and to what level) have never tested myself as not an issue for me.

Question i have a friend that has order watches from (rearwatches.com) do anyone now if its good or bad quality. He have already bought several watches and recive them so theres no problem with that, but the low prices confuse me a bit??

I assume you verified they can actually obtain the watch, a true VSF? I read somewhere that some VSF being sold are a combination of parts, left overs from the raids and another maker. Don't remember the details.
