I have never seen that movement or eterna style rotor cloned.

It’s a real Swiss movement but not necessarily a genuine Tudor movement. Where did you get the pictures?

Looks like a gen Tudor movement to me, when judging from its sharp, deep and consistent engravings on it. Had a vintage Tudor Rose Prince Oyster Date myself and the movement looked pretty much like it, afaik Tudor has always been using completely stock ETA movements until they finally developed in-House movements by themselves quite recently

Yes. Tudor used to use ebauche ETA movements (e.g. 2824-2)


Oh yeah FYI for curious minds (i know this isn't exactly relevant), but there are a bunch of re-engraved '2843' movements out there that is decorated to look like a Tudor movement lol.

e.g. from my experience, my stock vietnam tudor 9411 came with one of those '2843' movements (link to pictures and my old sales thread is below). The movement is an old genuine Swiss ETA, but the replica factory refurbished it by decorating it with pearlage and engraving it with the tudor branding + '2843'
