I have a TC V6. Having trouble with movement tc2824. If I decide to upgrade. What the best upgrade that will fit.

You can use a Rolex crown with it, if you use a Rolex dial you'll need to remove the feet and find another method of attaching the dial to the movement.

If you're asking these sorts of questions I strongly recommend you get someone else to do the work for you.

If you change to an ETA 2824, you can use all your TC parts again.
It is than only an exchange of TC2824 to ETA2824.

If you want to go Gen dial and hands, I would suggest a Yuki3135 movement. Than you have it more correct and Gen parts will easily fit.

Thanks for the info. Is a Gen dial really that much better Than the TC. I just purchased the gen insert and crystal. Gen crown on the way.

If you take the ETA2824 I would keep the TC dial. It is a very good dial on the V6.

When you have already insert and crystal, it is perfect.
Gen crown also very fine.

I would not do more with this TC.

The TC2824 is a clone/copy of the ETA 2824.

Have your watchmaker transfer the H4 over so the hand stack height clears the indices.

I’d go with Swiss ETA 2824, gen xtal, insert and crown on a TC and call it a day
