Hi all,

I'm fairly new here but spent a long time lurking and reading some of the guides and advice and recently took the plunge and bought the Montblanc Timewalker Chrono from Ryan at InTime. The watch listing is here:

I contacted Ryan about this watch on Saturday 14th July (I'd previously been talking with him about a different watch but finally decided on this one).

I had a couple of problems with the card payment gateway, my bank was blocking the payment. I called the bank and spoke to them and they said they weren't blocking anything and there were no attempts at taking the payment on their system. This was with Barclays UK, I tried with a different card and this went through without problem. This was using a Mastercard (the original was a Visa Debit) - this may be why Mastercard is recommended on the payment page.

I received QC photos from InTime on 25th July and everything looked good, I was even sent a photo of the watch on a time graph (below):

After confirming that I was happy with the watch, I received a tracking code on Friday 27th July. This morning (1st August) I received a notification from the 17track app that my watch was being delivered today.

I'm incredibly happy with the watch. It feels really well made, there's a bit of weight to it too - it doesn't feel light and flimsy. The chronograph function works perfectly and it's been ticking away happily since put it on my wrist. I'm not a watch expert so I'm not going to attempt to compare it or rate it in comparison to the original.

I'd well recommend InTime watches as they were great, I asked Ryan quite a lot of questions and he was friendly and patient with me all the way through.

I also wanna thank you all for the wealth of great guides and FAQs on these forums, I don't think I would have felt confident to take the plunge without all of your help!

I'm looking at this watch myself, but getting scared off by posts from a few years ago suggesting the A7753 is a far better option than the A7750 that is on sale at the moment. I am assuming this is a A7750 version so I'm keen to get an idea of how it looks in comparison to the Gen.

I've read a few issues such as a non-functioning second hand, a lack of a date change button and a sunken date.

They are very close to gen o. The 7750 but again too many stories about 7750 and movement issues which the 7753 had eradicated. Intime confirmed that there had been a re release of the 7753 about a year or so ago but when I tried to order it (as it said instock on his site) there were none available... Shame
