Hi all,

Received today a new watch for my mom, sadly it makes a loud noice when wearing, like the rotor is laying loose in the case.

I have opened it to check the rotor-screw, its tight and okay. But the rotor keeps wiggling, this must be te reason of the rattling when she wears the watch.

Is there a fix for this? maybe some lubrication?

I have made a video with sound of the problem.

Thanks for helping. Greetings Aplex

The obvious solution here would to stop poking the rotor with the screw driver - that should eliminate the noise almost immediately.

Maybe the ball bearing?

Are you sure the rotor is correctly seated on it's housing - the flat side of the rotor matches the flat side in the pinion ?

Most rotors are going to rock a little - all will rock if you poke them with a screw driver.

Take the rotor off, reposition it, make sure it's pressed down completely, then tighten the screw. If it still rocks (a lot) then try replacing the rotor with a new one.
