I know about the hydro dipping for some time already and today I asked myself a question what about custom made printing on watch parts and went on yt just to find this video. This could actually be fun in custom made watches (rep included!), looks to be quiet easy to use at home and price affordable

check the video, I already see some camouflage PAM in the making. The fun part is that only details can be customized by using this technique, straps, buckles, movement bridges, skeleton watches..

Cool technique and tech - but damn it would be tricky for really precise positioning of a design on anything!

Not really, have a look at other video on yt. After it is practice, once you have the hand still only sky is the limit..

Precise positioning - i.e. millimeter precise - would be just about impossible.
