The 12 clock SEL is at the same height of the case, I've think if is possible to sand the SEL to make it thinner and get more perfect at the case...
If is possible, which sandpaper I use to keep the brushed style???

400 grit is a safe starting point. Keep a constant check on the curve, it's easy to get a straighter spot than you want. Go up or down in grit as needed to be more/less aggressive. Sand in same direction as brushing. Pay attention to uniform slope from center to outer edge. When done, touch up brushing with green Scotchbrite.

Yes it is possible, but it is also easy to mess it up. Just do it slowly and constantly check your progress

Got it, and, i know that you said that is to use 400 grit but I have 360 grit, can I use the 360 or is better I buy a 400??

You should have an assortment, 360 should be OK to start but I wouldn't rely on just that. Get some other finer grits, 600, 800, 1000. See what works well for you.

Left side looks perfect bro. Right side could use a little more off the top. That's what I told my barber, haha. Really nice work!

I don’t think it looked that bad from the start.

As for the spring bar... I don’t think they use a spring bar for that link. I thought they were in place with a pin and pushed together with the rest of the link. Idk. I’ve never taken that part apart before but from the pics I’ve seen, it wasn’t a spring bar that was holding that last link in place against the SEL.

by the way, is that a 16800 build? I’d love to see some pics of it is.

It looks like it was a JF base. Which dial did you use?

*edit*. Nvm. I was looking at the pic you found on Instagram.
