Pam243 piece on hands fell off

Hello all,
Wondering if I could get some advice on this pam243. This small piece in the middle of the hands fell off and is now free-floating. Anybody know if it can be fixed or glued? Or should I just leave it out? I’m going to take it to the watchmaker to have it remedied.

the pinion cap , it should be able to be pressed back on

BTW hack the watch NOW , you dont want that getting caught under the hands and scratching the dial
