I have a few sets of micro screwdrivers and after a while the tips chip. Can anyone recommend a really good quality precision slotted screwdriver for rolex band screws?

Bergeon. They are expensive but good quality and durability.

Until you get a good set, you can sand down your existing ones' tips. Use ~600 grit, place the blade on its wide side at the same angle as the existing angle and draw it toward you enough times to remove any flaws. Repeat on the other side, touch up the edges then hold it straight up perpendicular to the sandpaper and give it a fresh slot edge. I re-do all my blades periodically.

I used to run into the same problem. What I have done is bought the cheap $10 set off of fleabay. As soon as you get them, take all the tips out and pitch them in the trash. Go to Esslinger and buy their stainless steel tips for all the sizes you need and install into the set. These tips are fantastic. Sometimes on the smaller sizes, you handles that aren't drilled straight. you can either buy a Bergeon or just spend another $10 for another fleabay set. Been doing this now for a couple of years and the Esslinger parts won't let you down (they might even be listed as Bergeon stainless tips).

Good thing about the cheap fleabay set, you get a decent rotatable holder.

Which are the sizes in mm that I need for the screws on the bracket?

Did you mean bracelet? Larger oyster link bracelets like Sub and GMT take a 160, smaller ones like president or jubilee need 140 or 120

I use bergeon and wihi screwdrivers. Nothing beats a set of quality screw drivers.

I ordered the cheapo screwdriver set but I am still unsure which type of tips to buy. There seems to be a couple of options that are specific to the model of Bergeon screwdriver set they are going into. They are all screwtype but the sets come in different sizes. I want to make sure I get the tip that will fit the cheapo set.

They are listed as fitting different Bergron screwdrivers so I think it would matter only if using with those. I do notice that the end you insert into the screwdriver is different, looks like on the second set you would be more limited on the location of the screwdriver set screw.

I totally agree. But for a start and a fraction of the price, Bergeon tips in generic handles have served me well. Although, now I have several Bergeon's as well and they are hands down the best. The same goes for tweezers. Dumont 3C, and nothing else is even close.

Well if I purchased one legit screwdriver and swapped out the tips, would that work?

you'll use 3 or 4 sizes consistently. Right now I have a mix of the generic and Bergeon...but worked with the generics for several years no issues
