Hi all, any advice for a first time rep owner. I carried out the Molotow paint mod to the bezel of this watch; however after a few days it comes out . I've done this 3 times now. What method could I try that may avoid this.

Based on the appearance of the datewheel and the rehaut, this watch looks to be a less expensive model. So the engravings on the insert are probably pretty shallow. That would make the Molotow mod not likely to succeed. You could try a more lasting enamel paint, shown in the link below. It's much easier to do than it looks.

Thank you for all of the help. I will investigate these options. Is there a possibility of just swapping out the bezel insert with a higher quality rep one?

It's possible that a swap would work. As you can imagine the deeper engraved inserts are thicker and it may be that your bezel won't accommodate that. If it were me I would not want to put more money into this watch but just save toward a better one.

This pic shows the difference between a good quality rep insert (same thickness as gen) and a cheaper one with shallow marker engravings. Most aftermarket inserts are thin, if you want a thick one the best option is to get one from a TD.
