Hi everyone,
this is going to sound like the most bizarre request but I have recently bought a new Noobmariner V8 114060. The watch is fantastic but I am itching to do some mods. I have experience of removing, dials, hands and movements and reassembling but not much more than this. I am looking to do a genuine Swiss movement swap and get the watch gaskets greased, pressure tested etc. I have previously bought replica Rolex submariners in the past but they where garbage compared to this v8. I have spotted a genuine breitling 2824 movement for a reasonable price however it will require a service and has the date wheel whilst my dial is a no date. The reason I want to do all this work is I want to keep this watch forever and want to know it has a solid and reliable movement in it. As my watch currently has the 2836 in it would it be a straight swap and if so could I use the 2836 stem and handset on the 2824 movement? Any help would be greatly appreciated on this build.
Many thabks
Neil
