1665 DRSD- Bezel too free?

Hi,

I bought a 1665 DRSD to modify it.

I realise that the bezel moves too freely in both directions. It seats flush with the case. But when you push it from on side... you can see a little gap on the other.

The take out the bezel and it has the these parts:

I’ve read that the are people who bends the flat spring in order to tighten the bezel. I did it with no positive results.

There are also people who use dental floss under the bezel to fix it. But I do not like that solution.

The bezel is flat.. not bended. I checked also that.

Can anyone give me a tipp to tighten it?

Bend the washer more, it works.

bend it in 4 places, not just halfway

If you bend the washer the bezel will be more tight but the gap remains below, probably the two bezels height is different. Check the internal washer if it is ok

I bended the washer in 4 places and put it together again.

The bezel is tighter now.. but there is still a small gap below it.

If I push the bezel, the gap disappears... so I do not know:

Whether I bended the bezel too much
Whether there is a problem with the Crystal retaining ring
Whether the bezel interferes with the crystal

So I need to investigate a little bit more.
