Hey guys!

Unfortunately my minute hand of my VSF PAM 382 broke off at the base while partying a little too hard :D. Now I am looking for someone who might be able to fix my beloved Pam 382... Maybe you guys know someone in germany or in EU who can fix it?

My local watchsmiths unfortunately weren't able to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Best thing would be to contact one of the pam gurus here. Maybe they can help you out. Natas78 would be in the EU and Belkin12 is from ukraine

Maybe you could find an old PAM and bring it to a watchsmith. Because of the shipping cost to a modder here and the risk of losing it...

Well thanks guys. So since it can't be fixed and there are no hands available that I will either have to find an old PAM or count this one off as a loss after only 3 months :(

Just a thought but have you considered reaching out to the dealer and see if they can source a hand set for you?

I think the cheapest donor would be PAM507 XCF from TT. He has hands for ST2555, but if you use the services of a modder, then I have no doubt that there is a technical possibility to adapt them.

This is probably the cheapest option for donating gold skeletonized hands to the 47mm model.

Yeah he said it is impossible to get spare hands from VSF.

I actually found this hand set on ebay US and thought about either galvanizing those bronze or maybe jsut painting them with some acrlyic bronze color.

Do you guys think that they would fit? It sure looks like it.

1. No, the hands must be for submersible, not 44mm luminor. They differ in form.
2. If you want to process them to achieve the desired color, then in addition to modifying the size of the hole, you can also add relume work. I would expect the total cost to be quite high.

I would suggest at this point that you place a want to buy ad and see if you can find someone who has a dead or damaged one you can harvest the parts from. You can probably make the want to buy ad a little more general and say you're looking for a dead 47 mm bronzo for parts

There's a first time for everything, and this is the first time I have ever seen THAT happen. Holy crap. I would have the watch serviced too when you source a hand. I would not be surprised if any of the pivots got some harm done.

Ive seen a watch where something happened to the escape wheel and it spun so fast it blew all the lume off the hands !

Like I said I dont know for sure how it happened. I woke up after a night out, checked my things if I lost anything and realised that the hand was broken :(...
