I have searched this forum and Google to death looking for an answer for this question. I am looking to upgrade my movement from a clone to a real ETA movement. However, the movent number is not stamped. Some TDs listed the movement as a 2836 and others listed it as a 2824. How do I know what is really inside my watch?
I have been able to find the differences between the movements of stem height and day/date function. Also the date flip is different. Here is the problem, I have nothing to directly compare it to so I can't figure it out. I am not very experienced either but am sure I can swap a movement if I can figure out which one to buy. Can someone please tell me how to tell the difference between the tow so I can be sure to buy the right movement to upgrade?
Here is a link to the watch on trusty. They call it a 2824 from Sky Factory. Puretime said it was Noob v10s with a 2836. I have read up extensively on it and it is the same watch. So who is right? What movemt is this?
