Movement Service

I had a 2836-2 movement swapped into a Day-Date rep I really like. I bought the movement from eBay and had one of the recommended service guys swap it out for the ETA Clone that came in the watch.

I think this is an old movement that needs servicing. It runs well and keeps good time but stops running well before the power reserve should be exhausted. Then you can rotate the watch back and forth and it will run again for several hours.

Seems like there's dirt in the movement or the original lubrication has gone bad.

Who do you guys recommend here for a complete disassembly service?

Thanks in advance!

Also: I'm located in the US.

There are three experienced watchsmiths you can reach out to:
1. @OASCOM
2.@Misiekped
3. @Tickleshoes.

They are on the east coast and do awesome work.

Yes, user names. I tried to tag them but I’m not sure if it worked thru Tapa
