Review Hulk Franken Build 116610LV Submariner (gen insert - pic heavy)

Guys, this time I did a pic heavy review of my recently completed Hulk.
It took me almost one year to get and assemble everything.
Most tricky parts was pressing the gen insert into the gen bezel without cracking it. This took me around 3 months alone to try because I didn’t want to crack it.
Luckily I made some (negative) experiences with other ceramic inserts before and knew to treat it carefully.
In addition to that there is great members on RWI who shared already their experiences of how to deal with this and I did it almost like they did.
Took me some beer and additional hard beat but went quiet well

IMO, the Hulk is a complete different watch using a gen insert.
No matter what else you will change, the insert makes the biggest difference.
I heard and saw some comparisons between new v3s Hulk insert and gen insert which was quiet promising. Nonetheless, never saw this in live.

V6S clasp (best rep clasp)
V7 bracelet (best SELs IMO)
V9 Case (great case)
VR3135 movement (best rep movement)
CF dial (best markers - lume like gen)

Gen spring bars
Gen/noob click springs (50/50)
Gen tube
Gen crown
Gen bezel
Gen Insert
Gen hand set
Gen crystal (used)

I see you have pics of a ZZF in there? Which insert did you have for it? The V2 or V2S? Curious on your thoughts on the differences if it was the V2S.

Thanks man. You are right. I uploaded this pic just by coincidence. It’s supposed to be a v2s but belongs to a friend of mine. So never had it in my hands. Saw some more pics and a comparison of the insert versus gen and it was pretty close IMO and a true alternative to gen. But as said, never saw this in real life

what did you use for the datewheel, is there a rep that's better than the rest or they're all the same for the most part. Also are gen hands that much better because of the white gold?

Oh, forgot to mention: date wheel is also gen of course.
The VR DateDisc is quite good either

With regards to hands, I think that it’s a matter of combination. ARF hands are very good as well. But their lume is too white. If you go with an ARF dial, it’s not a problem. But once you change to Noob, GMF or whatsoever, there will be a huge difference in hands and dial. Personally, I am not such a hands freak, but I need to have dial and hands in one color with regards to lume

According to previous owner hands were new in blister so no relumed needed, and dial was used but in mint condition no relumed needed as well. I want to share with you one more of my build. It is my 116613lb build that inspired by your build. If you do not mind sharing.
