I just got the rep today (thanks to M2M sale from doctor_edward), so will be doing an in depth review soon. Here are a few pics to get this review started! This of course is the first batch of REP's as the watch is brand new for this year, and if you do not know much about it, the watch is a 50th anniversary of the original sea dweller and has red writing as a tribute to the original. It is my favorite watch and since getting it a few months back has been a daily wearer.

Yes now it is very clear for the trained eye of course... shinny rehaut, cyclops AR, shinny bezel, ok I will not spoil this more !

yeah this one is easy, just having a little fun, till I get enough time to do a in depth review. Main issues are dial color and font on bezel. But for a first attempt, I was quite impressed and considering I spent $11,350 on the GEN and about $210 on the REP, no complaints here!

Indeed it’s impressive how close they can come but again someone “experienced”knows what and where to look to call it out immediately but people like that are what, one in 10million maybe??? I was not like that 2 years ago but RWI ruined me and now own 4 gens and 2 good modes reps

I think even the gen looks rep!!
I turned down the option to buy the gen as the market is not as good as it should be and many are appearing for sale only at list price. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though so enjoy you’re gen buddy!

What i noticed is the pearl is way different on the rep. It sits high like the 116610 while the gen pearl is way more recessed.

Few more pics to share of inner rehaut and inner case as well as movement. However the lug width for this watch is 21MM vs the gen at 22MM! Not sure how they got this one wrong. I figured it out as I was going to put another strap on it , a 22mm, and I quickly realized it was too wide! Yes 22mm, that is the biggest complaint that the deepsea has a bracelet that is too small. So they got it right with sea dweller, now we need the reps to have the correct size

I think the ARF that is coming out, or is already out, will have the correct size bracelet... fingers crossed

Yeah but they have a glossy dial used atleast it looks so at the Photos.
