Anybody had any luck blueing screws from a rep movement? Have spent a small fortune on gen parts to build a 3131 Asian movement and wondered if possible to blue the bridges screws that are visible through the clear caseback I plan to use?

I have a watch Smith putting this together for me but wondered if I could blue specific screws prior to him doing his thing.

Anybody tried before?

Maybe try gun bluing solution.
Yeah I did see that used on YouTube but it looked a little rough and turned out very dark. Do you have any experience with it?

I'm not too confident in the Chinese steel screws either

I’ve used a cold blue solution before on various steel parts, the results were just ok and varied with the steel used.
