ss bracelet fading

Hello,
i got my gf a V6F cartier ballon bleu SS
after a couple of months of wearing, the inside of the bracelet is fading, and there is a grey coloring on her wrist after each wear
any idea why this is happening?

The bracelet is rubbing on the deployment clasp. This creates fine particles. Nothing to worry about. Also the links on many reps are full of oil that can get on the skin. You may want to clean the bracelet to help stop it.

oh i see
and yes i got the bracelet an oil bath once i received, so it's possible it might need more washing to get that excess oil out.
