Before I ever found RWI and it’s invaluable list of TDs, I purchased my first rep from a source I actually found while looking for homage watches. That was a pam616, and over time I bought several more watches from her because she was available, honest, and had good pricing.

She was also able to get almost anything I asked for, including models I haven’t seen offered by TDs here. This was PAM 911.

Some of these models have some glaring inaccuracies, for instance here is the case back for 911

She has been a bit cagey about what factory she sources from, although she has mentioned “F factory” before, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen mentioned in the forum here.

Here is her PAM 222

While these are by and large not the quality of reps I’ve acquired from TDs here, the ability to get models otherwise not seen and the very reasonable pricing has kept me coming back, and some of the simpler stainless models have been quite good in my opinion.

I’m curious if anyone has any experience with F factory (if it’s even a real thing), or with a non-TD who has become trusted to you by experience. It’s been an interesting subtext to my rep hobby.

Those look like the lower quality reps and the factories that make them have an unlimited number of models available. And I had the same issue. I could never get a consistent answer in which factory made them. I had one seller I dealt with who got me a fiddy that's very similar to yours (just different dials) it looks like.

It's like they use the same case and movement for every model and just change the dials. The selection is nice. The commitment to the details and quality, not so much. Here is a small selection from the gallery to illustrate availability of different models.

Also here is a Pic of my old 127. And like on yours, the details are pretty... Sketchy.

Yeah, sign me up for whoever can get me a 911 like the one posted above. That’s everything I’ve been waiting for.

And to add to the discussion: I bought a no-name factory 177 from Dealerclocks (a probationary TD here) and it’s excellent. Love it. Would love to know more about OP’s factory so I can find a 911 dial.

Have a 187 listed on their site and before the holiday, he said he has it but told me it hit him up after the holiday. That reminds me.
