I like to think of DHG as buying a lotto ticket. You might win, you might not... in the meantime you can dream about it being a winner. It's all about expectation for me. Just like lotto tickets, they are fun to buy but I never get my hopes up.

It looks pretty similar to gen without any obvious flaws at least to my untrained eyes.
The seller was running an app-only promo with 40% discount, so I paid less than $100 for this watch and I’m pretty happy about it.
Hope it lasts though!

This may not be a "best find" but it's certainly a "pleasantly surprised" find.
I ordered this on a whim. Total impulse buy that I tacked on to another order. It showed up today unexpectedly.
Unlike most gate reps of this watch model, this one came with applied indices (rather than painted) and domed crystal with AR. The band sucks but that was expected... I actually expected the whole thing to suck, but it's not bad. It's not a great rep by any stretch, but it will make a fun summer beater.

That smpo looks really good to me - I’m sure others will say there are flaws.
How much did you pay? Looks like a similar one I got from a TD for around $300
For the SMPO I paid about 165€, and it's correct what you said about decorated Miyota mvt.

LOL was on sale for $26 shipped each. Wiped with a chlorox wipe since came from China recently.

Quartz but second hand is so small wont notice.
Head and textured dial is legit.
Bracelet is crap and actually 1mm short (24mm vs 25mm lug).
Will get 25mm crocs from Vietnam or Martu that will cost more than the watch LOL.

WSO strap actually fits perfectly and looks good. Caveat is that it is probably hard to remove without damaging the strap.
