Isn’t the classic fusion like 45 mm? Would hardly call that a dress watch. :) also, hublot for me is like the Ed hardy of watches

There are also 42mm and 38mm.

That is by no means a dress watch. As it has been said above, there are basic rules for a watch to be considered a dress watch:

1. Leather bracelet
2. Clean dial. Just time, perhaps date at most.
3. Small and thin, easy to conceal under your shirt cuff.

The Calatrava, JLC Ultrathin Moon and Portofino are excellent choices. Also look into the Rolex Cellini or if you are feeling bold the JLC Reverso or Cartier Tank for a more vintage look.

Go on the search bar and search with threads with "dress" in the title, there are a few very interesting threads about this.

Check this out, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w0mqdHR3sY&list=LLRl6SvmQ2LWrvThPOAFgLBQ&index=2&t=0s

it's a AP ROYAL OAK WHITE DIAL with black leather strap.

and this one is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcnvKnNbZI0&list=LLRl6SvmQ2LWrvThPOAFgLBQ&index=2

but with black dial. Both are 41mm and thin as well about 10mm. I'm eyeing on the first link because I have several watches already that has a black dial in a rose gold bezel.

I'm from PH too, but right now I'm based in London, probably next year I'll be back. With regards to 15400, I think it's a bit too big. One of my criteria for a dress watch is it should not hinder the movement of your cuff when you move. Take a look at the patek calatrava 5227 black dial. That is my favorite dress watch. :)

Hello Kabayan! =)

Well for a Calatrava, I'm eyeing on this one https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...ek-philippe-calatrava-5296r-rg-zf-eu-only-395

it's a Patek Philippe Calatrava 5296 in rose gold by ZF and I don't know what is the latest version of this. The TD that I'm in contact with offers me 428 for the Calatrava but he doesn't say anything about the version.

And it's from ZF?

Ah sorry. That’s what you meant. I thought you were referring to v1/v2 etc. No there are multiple factories producing the calatrava, but ZF is the best.

I love this watch, but it’s not a dress watch by any means. Wearing that to a business casual event is somewhat borderline but still fine in my opinion, but I’d never ever wear that to a business dress code let alone black tie.

Hehehe I already have a Daytona and it's a Champagne one =) And it looks sexy =) However I want a leather on my big day and the one that shouts simplicity like Calatrava =D but I'm still torn on JF AP ROYAL OAK 15400 RG in White Dial with black leather strap or that Slick looking [h=1]Patek Philippe Calatrava 5296R RG ZF heheh =)[/h] does it have only one version? No V2 V3 AND SO ON?

There is another version of this one that has this 2 circle layout left and right. And that one is nice as well. =) I already have a Hublot though and I'm planning to get each brand before I repeat the other brands with different models =)

Can't go wrong with that choice brother. I just can't pull off a rose gold but that is a great dress watch.

That's what I thought. ZF produce the best Calatrava AFAIK =)

I see you've seen the wrist shots ;-)

Honestly, that Calatrava is one of a kind, ZF has done a terrific job. I'm already regretting selling it, I'll probably buy one again in less than a year, haha.

Breguet La Tradition 7057 or the Konstantin Chaykin Joker if you prefer something different (two opposite stly of dress watches but each one nice in it’s details)
